The Lupin Probe utility is used to perform quick non-invasive discovery of network link capabilities. The two network characteristics that most impact performance are; round trip latency; and available bandwidth. The Lupin Probe will use ICMP packets to continuously sample for these characteristics over the selected network route. The probe will report on this collected data or the data can be imported into other analysis programs for specific reporting requirements.
